Organic Vegetable Shell Pasta are shell-shaped noodles made from stone milled durum wheat semolina, with the addition of spinach powder (green shells) and beet powder (purple shells).A pantry staple which can hold sauce well, ideal for making pasta salads, casseroles and soups.

USES

Suggested Usage

Pair the pasta shells with the sauce, such as pesto, tomato, rose, or simply by tossing roasted vegetables and grilled chicken (or tofu for a vegan option). Can also turn cooked pasta into a pasta-bake, casserole, or salad.

This tri-color pasta cooks in a large pot of salted, boiling water for approximately 8-10 minutes (al dente), or until desired texture; ideal for pasta salads or serving with the sauce.
