Shipping policy

At Greenroot, we are committed to providing comprehensive food distribution services, including inventory management, storage, transportation, and delivery both within Hong Kong and abroad. Our warehouse and office are located in Tsuen Wan West, Hong Kong.

Deliveries within Hong Kong

Service Coverage: Greenroot offers direct delivery services within Hong Kong, covering Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and New Territories. We can also deliver to outer lying islands, but delivery days and charges may vary. Please check before placing your order.

Delivery to Outer Lying Islands: Deliveries to outer lying islands will be facilitated through Kaito or Ferry Rides, with clients bearing the related ferry charges in addition to the standard delivery fee. It's important for customers to be present at the pier for the reception of products, as Greenroot will not be responsible for any missing or damaged items due to unattended reception.

Delivery Restrictions: We are unable to deliver to restricted areas or locations inaccessible to trucks. Additionally, for the safety of our delivery team and the public, we reserve the right to refuse delivery to unsuitable or inaccessible locations.

Delivery Schedule: Our standard delivery days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with delivery times between 9am - 12pm and 1pm - 5pm. Upon approval of your business account, we will confirm a delivery schedule that suits your needs, taking into account any specific delivery instructions or requests.

Order Cut-offs: To ensure timely delivery, please note the following order cut-off times:

• Order by 12pm on Monday for Wednesday delivery
• Order by 12pm on Wednesday for Friday delivery
• Order by 12pm on Friday for Monday delivery

Public Holidays: Our standard delivery schedule may be affected by public holidays. You will be notified in advance of any interruptions to our standard delivery service, allowing you to plan your orders accordingly.

Delivery Fees: Free delivery is available for orders meeting the minimum order amount to each delivery location. Specific minimum order amounts will be confirmed upon creating your Greenroot Customer account.

Order Collections: Order collection from our warehouse is possible. Please communicate this request with your Sales Representative.

Extreme Weather Conditions: In the event of extreme weather conditions, we will communicate with you directly to discuss contingency plans, aiming to find a solution that works best for both parties.

International Deliveries

Deliveries to Macau: We offer delivery services to Macau and will work with you to arrange a suitable delivery schedule. Delivery fees will be confirmed upon ordering.

Deliveries to Other Countries: Greenroot is capable of shipping internationally. Upon learning about your desired products, we will collaborate with you to arrange the best shipping method. Some products may require specific certificates for import, and it is the Buyer's responsibility to inform us of such requirements.

Ex Works Shipping Terms: When purchasing goods under Ex Works shipping terms, it is understood that Greenroot assumes no liability for any issues arising after the shipment of the products, including but not limited to returns, damages, or defects.
