Description

Organic dried pitted prunesare made from premium plums that are hot-air dried then lightly water steamed to soften. The harvested prunes are washed, sorted and dried. After the drying process there is size selection, the prunes are washed again and rehydrated. Deliciously sweet with a deep rich taste, fruity aroma and a luscious, sticky texture. Convenient snackanda great addition.

USES

Suggested Usage

Great healthy snack and lunchbox ingredient. Add chopped prunes to muesli, porridge and smoothie bowls. Or use them in home-baked cakes, muffins, biscuits and desserts. Serve stewed prunes for breakfast with cereal and natural dairy or coconut yoghurt.

Prunes can be soaked in hot water for a few minutes, or lightly stewed for compote.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
