Currants from Greece are produced from small seedless black grapes that have been dried.are packed with intense fruit flavour and have a deep purple-black colour, free flowing with a soft, fleshy texture.Currants are a delicious and convenient snack, that is also great added to breakfast foods, baked goods and sweet or savoury recipes.

USES

Suggested Usage

Great for use in cooking, baking, currant cake and homemade fruit trail mixes. They can treat asa quick snack, in lunch boxes, or with cheese and nuts. Addnatural sweetness to home-baked bread, fruit buns, muffins, biscuits, cakes.

Currants add a burst of sweet flavour to muesli and porridge, acai bowls, or natural yoghurt. Combine them with other dried fruits, seeds and nuts in moreish trail mixes.Theyare also great with nut butter or tahini in wraps, tossed through salads, or in slices and muesli bars.
